Berries are high in antioxidants and other health promoting benefits. Smoothies are a great way to include more of nature's candy in your daily diet.

BERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL RECIPE
Total time: 5 minutes
Servings: 1
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen strawberries
3/4 cup cranberry juice (could sub for apple juice if you don't enjoy the tart cranberry taste)
1 tbs chia seeds
1 tbs hemp seeds
1 scoop of your favourite vegan protein powder
1 tsp ashwagandha powder (optional)
1 tsp acai powder (optional)
How to make it:
Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender.
Blend until smooth (you may need to add a little water depending on what blender you are using).
Serve and enjoy immediately.
Add your favourite toppings. Here I added some granola, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds.
